Inspired cuisine 40 years in the making
Filippa's Italian Restaurant & Banquets has been serving Shelby Township since 1975. Led by Executive Chef Dean Cicala, our kitchen serves homemade pastas, chicken and veal classics, fresh fish, and hand-cut steaks, plus American favorites like burgers and sandwiches. Join us for a business lunch, a family dinner, or a cocktail in the Lounge, and enjoy our landscaped patio in the summer. Our newly remodeled private dining rooms host showers, birthdays, anniversaries, memorial luncheons, and corporate events, with plated, family-style, and buffet menus and never a room fee. We also offer catering and drop-off lunches for your home or office.At Filippa's, it's all about quality. Executive Chef Max Hoose sources all the food from top-quality seasonal ingredients, featuring many local and organic specialties. Our wine list is always changing offering a mix of new wines to accompany our signature dishes. We are happy to recommend the perfect wine for your dinner at any time.

We came here for my nonnas birthday. The service was EXCELLENT and so well coordinated. We didn't have to wait long any food to come out. They were always checking on our drinks for refills. They cut and served the cake for us too. They really went above and beyond. Will definitely becoming back!!

We came in from out of town to meet our relatives. 14 of us gathered at Fillipa's. The service and the food were both superb. We were not hurried and we visited for hours.
